Currently, Schluter Tardella is working toward an upcoming exhibition, “unsheltered”, at Macomb Community College Art Gallery. A collaboration with sculptor Cody VanderKaay, their project is a visual response to what it means to “have shelter” and to “shelter in place”. They will probe the personal, political, and social meanings of what constitutes shelter and home, particularly during and as a result of Covid-19. The exhibition was scheduled to open January 2021 but has been postponed due to the pandemic.
